Curtis has not only worked extensively as a vocal coach but also as a K-12 music educator, music director for middle and high school musical theater programs, and community theaters. His experience also includes serving as a music director and guest artist performer at the University of Arkansas, guest clinician and guest artist for Brigham Young University (BYU), and guest artist for Kansas State University (K-State).
